Subject: [Corpus Christi 10062 Mail] Help needed - Cub Scout event tomorrow

As discussed at the last several meetings and included in the calendar of events, many have shown interest in supporting the Veterans and the Cubs Scouts.
We are looking for 4-6 volunteers to work this event.
Tomorrow is the Annual Cub Scout Braves Pow Wow at the Heard Pueblo.
This event hosts 700+ Cub Scouts from around the state enjoying a great day outdoors geared totally for them with over 80 fun filled things to do, learn and see.
Cub Scouts get unlimited access to all events, demonstrations, skill stations, event patch, training, official bead collecting necklace, lunch and more. They attend the Native American Indian Village learning dances, making flutes, listening to storytelling and playing native games. And they learn about our national flag, it's meaning, how to care for it and take turns retiring flags first hand.
Again this year, the Knights are proud to host the service tent where cub scouts can write/draw a card of encouragement for homeless veterans or color/decorate an ornament for those in the VA hospital.
Scout leaders love the Knights tent because it supports the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
Please contact me if you would like to volunteer at the booth:
Dave Rak – 602-579-7500

The booth will be set up with table chairs and materials.
