Brothers,
We need to really step up and get sponsors and golfers for our annual charity golf tournament in memory of SK Joe Hasulak.  Remember that Maggie's Place and St. Mary's Food Bank are the beneficiaries of this years effort and they both need significant $$$ help in these still "interesting?" times.  Please sign up to golf, line up a foursome and/or ask your employer to sponsor at some level.  WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!

Squire's Back From Summer Break, Next Meeting Sept. 12th at 7 p.m.

Squire's / Parents,

Just a reminder that the Squires are back from summer break and the next meeting is Thursday, September 12th at 7 pm in Rooms 5 & 6. We have quite a few things to discuss so hoping you can all make it.

We'll be missing Blake and Sean as they move on to their next journey in life which is college – good luck and it was a pleasure having you in the group and we wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors!

If you know of a young man between 10 – 18 that you think would like to be a Squire feel free to invite them to attend one of our meetings as we're always looking to open and expand our Squires Circle.

KC Golf Tournament - Need Help!!!

Brothers,

We hate to belabor the point, yet we need your help signing up both sponsors and golfers for our annual tournament September 14th.  Right now the focus is Sponsors as this is where we generate most of the revenues we donate to our charities; this year it's St. Mary's Food Bank and Maggie's Place.  Not everyone is a born salesmen, yet if you work for a business or know someone who may be able to be a sponsor, please contact us ASAP (Chuck Frass 602-881-6952 or Dennis Sullivan 480-201-5556) and they will assist you.

Starting this weekend (August 10-11) we will be handing out registration flyers for the tournament after all masses.  There will be an announcement made at all masses asking anyone interested to stop at the Knights table in the courtyard.  We need 2-3 (more is fine) to man the table and simply hand out the registration to anyone that asks for one - we are not to approach people as they leave church.  If you can help out kindly e-mail Bill Drummey (bdrummey@cox.net) or call/text at 480-460-2721 and let him know what mass you can help.

Attached are all the forms for sponsorship and registration.

Knights Night at the Ballpark - 8-31

Brothers,

Attached is a flyer regarding the annual Knights Night at the Ballpark - this event helps Special Olympics and our council charities.

This event is for FAMILIES and FRIENDS and fellow PARISHIONERS of all ages and can be a great recruiting event for future members.
The council must place its ticket order by 8/16.  On behalf of the council I can place the order BUT I MUST HEAR FROM YOU!!!!
As noted in the flyer, tickets are for two price ranges and are discounted for our group.
$28 for lower level (Reg $39) or $13 for upper level (reg $21).
Note - a few of you have "verbally" reserved tickets from me...I ask you to send me an e-mail so I can make sure that I don't miss ( forget) any of your requests.
The council has committed to 10 tickets minimum but we should get 25 - 30 attendees for this great event.
Great price, great event and great game!!!
Remember - to become "Council of the Year" we need to exceed our member recruitment goal  - thus we need 2 new members per month.
Vivat Jesus,
Dennis Sullivan

KofC Council 10062 Calendar and Program List for tonights meeting at 7PM

Brothers-

Please review and print the attached Calendar and Program List, as you can see activities really pick-up in September.  Also there are vacancies for program chairs, please consider filling one.  On a personal note I am giving up the Hospitality Chair, I have performed the duties for a couple of years and feel it is time for someone else to take over.  Please contact me if you are interested and I can run down the scope of it.

Vivat Jesus!
